Oh my golly gosh, it's been two weeks since I last posted on this blog and most of you will know that this is indeed the first time that I have ever left it for so long (but I can ensure you that my reasons for doing so are extremely valid). Soap & Glory| Orangeasm Body Wash, Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub, Righteous Butter & Fragrance

Since wondering down the isle in Boots and being allured by the enormous tubs engraved with many witty puns, I have been a major fan of Soap & Glory for a number of years now. I was once one of the those girls who stuck to what I knew, and in that very 'one minded time', I was mainly using LUSH and The Body Shop products because one, I worked at LUSH and two, I believed them to be the only natural products that were on the market (I know, I must have lived under a beauty rock for a while). But then again a lot of us get clouded in our one trick minds and it can be quite hard to stray away from what we know as the norm. I mean, I'd hate it if I bought a new product which cost a lot of money but then hated it. But then again, we can never create our own new beauty secrets and favourites if we didn't take a trip onto the wild side once in a while (so be brave my little beautynistas... did I just come up with a new word?). Not only do I love Soap & Glory products (which I will go into in a second) but I just love the companies branding and morals. I'm not sure if a lot of you know but Soap & Glory use their own staff and prize winners as their models because they want to demonstrate that any one can be beautiful, and they want to use people that truly love and know their products- how cute!

I had never heard of nor smelt Orangeasm before but I have to say it is amazing in many ways. When I was younger orange used to be my favourite smell- I remember walking into my local garden centre and picking up an orange car spray and being ever so determined to my mum that I could use it as my perfume (face palm). I'm sure that we all have our own funny beauty stories one way or another. However since growing up, my love for a zesty scent hasn't changed one bit. What I love about this Orangeasm shower gel is that it is ever so refreshing, but this sweet orange gel isn't too potent on the nose as this product also contains Sicilian Lemon, triple tea, and ginseng (so super luxurious on the skin too.) You can pick up a bottle for £6.50 and there are also other products in the range too!

From my last post which I published back in January (click here to see that), many of you will know that the Righteous Butter is my ultimate favourite body butter to use. Like last time, I still really cannot put a pin point on the smell but I still think that it smells a little like pink fluffy candy floss (but please let me know your opinions below!). This award winning body butter softens your skin because it is jammed packed with aloe vera and cocoa butter- Soap & Glory swear that you might end up feeling like you are wearing velvet after application. I am most definitely taking this pot on holiday so that I can re-hydrate my skin after a good tanning session. Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub on the other hand is another delight because it smells just like digestive/ginger biscuits (no lie). This exfoliator contains organic cupuacu bio scrubs, bananas, almond and honey extracts which are the perfect ingredients for sore and dry skin. I love using this scrub both morning and night and it has been rather good at scrubbing away my old patchy fake tan (blush). You can pick up Righteous Butter for £10.50 and Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub for £8.00.

What makes life even better is that I can now lock in the Righteous Body Butter smell with my own Original Pink body spray! I love to pop this on after applying my Righteous Butter and I find that the smell lasts for much longer (right until morning if applied at night). I also received the Orangeasm Fragrance which smells just like the body wash above but I think it smells slightly more of orange peel (if that makes sense?). But I most definitely will be wearing this fragrance on a hot summers day and who knows, it may even put off those nasty mozzies! I also received the Fruitigo Fragrance and I also consider this one to be a summery scent because its mint and Sicilian lemon makes it smell just like a glass of Pimms (no joke!). I must add that it's almost good enough to drink but obviously I'm not going to do that (it's that identical). If you wish to smell like Soap & Glory gal this Summer, you can pick up these two for £10.00 each (but keep your eyes peeled because one of these may star in my mega beauty prize give away coming up).

What Soap & Glory products do you like? Would you give any of the above a go?
Let me know in the comments.
Much Love

Flight Essentials| Long Haul & Short Haul

Click here to watch my In-Flight Travel Essentials Video
Eeeeek I am totally excited.... I'm off to South Africa this week! I cannot believe how quickly this has come around but I am now kind of nervous about the 16 hour flight that I am going to have to endure (the longest I've ever done is only 8 hours!). So to make my trip a little more bearable, I am taking a number of my own flight essentials that will (hopefully) make the journey a lot more comfortable. As it is 'YouTube Sunday', I have popped all of my essentials into a video as I thought that it would be a lot more easier than reading from a huge list of items (that would be a very long read). As I will be away, I am afraid that I will only be posting a blog post this Monday and then not again until the following week- but I will be uploading my social media sites regularly with South Africa content (Twitter & Instagram). However to make it up to you all, when I get back I will be hosting a huge beauty give away so do make sure you tune in for that. If you do have any of your own tips and tricks when it comes to travelling, please drop me a comment as I’d love to hear them!

I'm not sure if this is a common thing but I really cannot sleep on planes or on public transport, I'm not sure what it is but as I am flying to Dubai over night, I am ensuring that I am packing my own blanket, pillow, and some herbal sleeping pills (that's if the gin and tonic doesn't work). I am also taking a number of beauty essentials so that I can take off and put on my make up easily, and also like a true digital gal, I am taking my laptop as I have a million and one blog posts to write (even some South African ones on the way back). But do give my YouTube video a watch (see above) to check out what else features in my essentials haul (or click here to view).

I must also mention that I am now totally hooked on the BlogphereMagazine and if you are someone who is too in love with the whole blogging and vlogging word, this magazine is indefinitely for you as well. What I loved about this magazine is that it contains a whole bunch of stuff, from tips on how to become a professional blogger to beating anorexia through blogging, I have also discovered new favourite bloggers and vloggers like Emtalks just to name one. The magazine I have is Issue 6 and it also features Marcus Butler- so make sure you grab a copy to get the gossip on his YouTube journey and low-down on his trolling experience. You can grab a copy nationally  in WHSmith and internationally via NewsStand.

Are you going away this Summer? What would your flight essentials be? Check out my video by clicking here and don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss out on any South Africa videos!

My Favourite Rimmel London Lipsticks| Moisture Renew & Kate Moss

Now this post is a little bit of two things: one to share my absolute love for Rimmel London lipsticks and two, to share some rather exciting news with you all (but we'll leave the little bit of news until last). I reckon Rimmel London lipsticks are not given enough credit, I mean, if you are a person who suffers from chappy, dry and sore lips, then Rimmel's Moisture Renew lipsticks are just the perfect answer to all of your lip's prayers. I honestly have so many lipsticks, I'd have to say around 30 to 40, and within my collection I have many high end brands like MAC, Chanel, and Charlotte Tilbury. I also have affordable brands like elf and No7 which I also adore. Now although I have some sort of love affair with my MAC lipsticks (especially cremeshene ones), sometimes the moisture in them isn't quite good enough to wear on a daily basis. I am someone who doesn't like to have a bare lip- I'm always wearing lipstick, even if it's a nude one. And having a lipstick that feels as though it is drying the life out of your lips is sincerely uncomfortable to me- especially when it starts to clump up and get all flaky (ew). So finding these lipsticks from Rimmel London have been a real saviour!

You can pick up a Moisture Renew lipstick for £6.49 and a Lasting Finish by Kate Moss for £5.49
I wear Vintage Pink and Heather Shimmer Moisture Renew lipsticks on a daily basis to work and they are truly amazing- I apply once in the morning (around 7am) and again at lunch time (around 1pm) and they last and hydrate my lips for a very long time (I'd say a good 6 hours before you have to top up again). These lipsticks contain three superpower moisturisers- polypeptides, hyaluronic acid and natural collagen which all deeply condition your lips instantly. They all also have SPF 20 and lots of vitamins in them so that your lips can also improve its condition over time (both a quick fix and a long term remedy). I also absolutely love the Kate Moss range by Rimmel London- talk about lipstick fit enough for an occasion. Now we all know that Kate Moss is a extremely successful model who has collaborated with the best photographers and brands across the world, so it's really nice to see that her range has equally been quite the hit too. I have both 110 and 107 and I am besotted- the finish on these lipsticks are more of a matte finish (rather than a cremesheen like Moisture Renew) and they too hydrate the lips (but not as much as Moisture Renew). I tend to wear my Kate Moss lipsticks out on occasions because they are ever so rich and durable, but as mentioned above, I like to wear my Moisture Renew ones on a daily basis. I must say that I absolutely love my little Rimmel colour collection and reckon that I'll be rockin' In Love With Ginger and Kate Moss 101 a lot this summer!

Now for my little bit of good news! Recently I collaborated with Beamly alongside Rimmel London to tell Beamly viewers (and now you guys) what my favourite Rimmel lipsticks and products were. Now if you don't know who Beamly are, they pretty much have everything to do with TV- soaps, dramas, reality TV shows, the Brit Awards... just everything. They are like the ultimate TV social network! I was very fortunate enough to be asked to create these two videos and I very much look forward to working with them again (so keep your eyes peeled for some more filming days). If you would like to check out My Rimmel London Lipstick Favourites video then click here (or by clicking the thumbnail below), and my Favourite Rimmel London Products video by clicking here (or the thumbnail below). Don't forget to subscribe to Beamly and check out my YouTube channel by clicking here.

Do you have a favourite Rimmel London lipstick (please tell)? Do you like any of the above?

UK Bathrooms| My Ultimate Spa Bathroom

Now I know what you are all probably thinking, this post is way unusual and different from what I usually post, but bare with my little chickens, this kind of post really tickled my fancy for a number of reasons. I saw that UK Bathrooms were gathering research on the 'ultimate spa bathroom' if money was no object- the latter being the very key cause towards my ultimate excitement. I have always dreamt of a bathroom that had an indulgent bath so that I could enjoy the huge glaciers courtesy of my LUSH bubblebar, with it all being dressed with some twinkling candles which could be hid away from the world with some lavish curtains. Ah what a way to enjoy an enchanted bath. Now I know that this is something that I will probably never get to have in my life (unless I get whipped away to some posh hotel or win the lottery) however it is always calming to think about what it would be like to live like an A-lister (something we've all thought about it). So whilst I type this post sat at work, the thought of having a bath like this takes the edge of the rather hectic afternoon I have scheduled. So here's what I would look for in my ultimate spa bathroom!

Accessories: now as mentioned above, having twinkling candles lit everywhere would send me to relaxation heaven- there’s just something about having lavender burning around me. I also have a thing for iron features on a bath (for example the legs) and big white fluffy towels hanging off from warm rails- ooh how classy. Now with a girl from the new digital age, I would be lying if I said that I wouldn’t like a TV directly in front of me whilst I bathe (a girl has to catch up on Gossip Girl and of course in my case, Coronation Street). So I think having those little ‘bath creature comforts’ around me is very essential.  Fireplace: Now from a girl who was bought up in cold farm houses, an open fireplace would be an ultimate dream to have on a cold winters days. Now picture this, you have just walked home from work in the freezing cold (you are also drenched) and all you want to do is defrost your toes and fingertips by warming them up from any source of heat possible (even a candle would suffice at this point). Walking into a grand bathroom with a crackling fire burning away would be the perfect ambiance to your nice hot bath- you could even defrost a little before hand.

A lovely bowl of LUSH bath products is a much! Check out my favourites by clicking here
Features- as mentioned above, having lavish long curtains to hide yourself away from the world adds that personal touch to any bath room (seeing as a lot of bathrooms just have plain blinds). I am also a sucker for huge beams and massive mirrors- there's something about adding a bit of modernity to a period room. However, what makes any bathroom stand out from the rest of the crowd is its view and window size, I mean, check out the two top images below- talk about wow. Bath & Shower: Now I love having a nice deep bath in a cute and dainty tub, but whether I would like a Jacuzzi is the golden question (I think my boyfriend would dump me if I said no to one). So for show I would say that I would go for an free standing tub however, for a day to day use I would hands down choose a Jacuzzi tub- there’s nothing like having a slight massage on your back from the water jets.

The four pictures above have to be my ultimate bathrooms- especially the two on the left! Get great tips on how to jazz up your bathrooms with the Better Decorating Bible (click here)
What would your ultimate spa bathroom look like?

Kiss Cosmetics| Volumetric Lust Mascara

KISS Cosmetics is admittedly a new brand that I had never heard of before, however I do like what I see! KISS Cosmetics launched their first product back in April and since then it has been no stopping them. What I particularly love about this brand is their ever growing range of lip sticks (you all know that I am a sucker for a bright colour) and adding a few into my shopping basket didn't seem to be a problem for me. However I do have a little request for KISS Cosmetics to design a Kistick in bright orange... pretty please? (I know I'm utterly obsessed with the colour). Any who, I was absolutely delighted to receive and try out the newest edition to their range which is the Volume Lust Mascara which comes out on the 10th of June. Usually I am extremely fussy when it comes to mascara, especially the wands, because I just hate mascaras that clump up (it's honestly a massive bugbear of mine). So let's see whether or not I will lust over this little newbie.

Some of you will know that I usually tend to stick to the mascaras that I know (usually Rimmel London) but since recently trying out a Yves Rocher one (click here), I have been a little more inclined to try out other brands. As you can see in the picture(s) above, the texture of the mascara is fairly thick and the wand's bristles are in different lengths (kind of jaggered I would say as well). Not going to lie, but I thought that this mascara would apply quite clumpy but as you can see below, this mascara has added a lot of additional length to my eyelashes (without any clumpiness!). I found that the more I put on, the more length and volume my eyelashes had- it was kind of incredible to see them grow so much. So with a mascara which kind of reminded me of Eylure's Cheryl false eye lashes, you certainly don't have to apply any 'falsies' with this mascara. Be sure to tune into Kiss Cosmetics on the 10th June to grab yourself a bottle.

Kiss say: "Volumetric Lust is a lightweight and volumising mascara! The 'conical' shaped brush ensures that lashes are defined and lengthened. The space between the turns gives good product distribution which thickens and adds volume to the lashes. This Paraben free formula provides a nutritional treatment promoting longer and stronger lashes"- amen to that!

I know this post is very different to my usual Sunday YouTube post, but my video for this week will be going up Wednesday (it's a collaboration video!). So make sure you subscribe (click here) to tune in for that one!

Will you be checking out the new range from Kiss Cosmetics?

June Beauty Favourites| MAC, Eylure, May Beauty, Nature's Secrets, Popbands

Throughout May I tried out a number of new beauty products and I have to say that I have fallen in love with a few. Like I've said before, I love doing these kind of posts because I am able to stir away from my everyday products that I tend to use on a daily basis, and become more brave in trying something a little more different (I think most of us are guilty of the latter). So with a variety of products ready to be auditioned, I think that all of the products mentioned in this post are perfect for the forthcoming summery months. I first wanted to mention my love for Eylure false lashes as they are truly like no other. I have been using all types of lashes for years now, but nothing has ever come close to the quality, durability, and finish that Eylure has to offer (talk about glamorous eyes like the stars). In the last few months I have tried out the Volume and Cheryl lashes, and although both make an amazing difference to my eyes, the Lengthening lashes have to be my favourite. The Lengthening lashes are not only perfect on a night out, but they are also perfect in the day time as they look very natural. I can often get at least 4 wears out of all Eylure lashes and they are only around £5.00!

Although this MAC Duo- Sided Foundation Sponge doesn't look 'all that', this little tool really should not be underestimated. I have noticed that a lot of people tend to use the foundation sponge by Real Techniques which I must say is much thicker and chunkier than this one, but this duo sponge offers more than just the even application of a liquid foundation. Whilst the pink side is also for gels and creams, the white flocked side helps the flawless delivery of all types powders onto the skin (even foundation). Since using this sponge to polish my liquid foundation (when I do actually wear it) my skin looked much more airbrushed and non cakey after application (the latter being something that is very prone during the warmer months). I also liked that I could use the pointed bit to go under my eyes and in between the creases. You can pick up this sponge for around £6.00 or £4.00 if you find it in an outlet centre (like I did!).

Now you all know how much I love a good face mask and the Peel Off Mud Mask by May Beauty is just phenomenal! Although the mask is fantastically dark, this mask removes dirt, fat, and dead skin cells from your face which are the common causes of acne, blackheads and inflamed skin. When I first popped this facemask onto my face I couldn't get over on how thick it was, let's just say that it was a good job that the mask came with its own application brush (I must add a feature that I loved). This mask isn't exactly the ideal facemask if you only want it to be on for 5 minutes because for this mask to be fully effective, it needs to be on for at least 30 minutes (so make sure you make a right pamper evening out of it). When I came to peel off the mask, I must say that it wasn't the pain free experience that I was hoping for. I'm not sure if this is because I left it on for too long or if I'm just a little bit of a wimp, but nevertheless you can definitely tell that this mask really did embed into the pores. After getting into the shower and wiping it off, my skin felt ever so soft and de-congested! After using this mask over the course of 3 weeks (applying it twice a week) my skin has significantly cleared up- especially the blackheads around my nose. You can buy this facemask and get 30% OFF by clicking here or by using the discount code ELTORIAFACEMASK30.

Nature's Secrets Virgin Coconut with Lime Body Butter is the perfect product to kick start your Summer holiday- talk about a thirst clencher! Whilst the scent of this body butter always takes me back to sipping on a Pina Colda sat on a very hot sunny beach, its soothing and gentle coconut scent will sure help banish any dry skin or sun burn that you may have (I had a little drama with some peeling skin on my chest the other day (from sun burn) and this product sorted it right out). Whilst coconut is renowned for its highly nourishing properties, what makes this butter even better is that it is coupled with lime which is antiseptic. Lime is also riddled with citric acid which helps with skin's complexion because it tones and evens out the PH and texture within the skin. I wouldn't say that the scent of this butter is wholly empowering, but as you can tell from the image below, it is incredibly thick and rich (its like a non oily intensive treatment for the skin). I will most definitely be taking this product on holiday with me and you can too for only £9.99.

Lastly I want to introduce to you the revolution of the Popband! And you are all probably thinking what on earth is one (chuckle). Since my post on 'My Festival Look', I'm also going to be tarting up my festival outfit with these Popbands. Kind on the hair and cute on the wrist, these stretchy and 'no dent' hair ties are easy to pop in and take out without damaging your hair! You can pick up a pack of 5 for £8.00 (other colours are available).

What are your June beauty favourites? Do you want to try any of the above?
Much Love

Microsoft Lumia 735| The Ultimate Selfie Phone

If there was one thing to say about the Microsoft Lumia 735 that would be that it is the ultimate selfie phone! Recently I have noticed a lot of vloggers and bloggers replacing their iPhone for this rather colourful piece of kit, so as a serial 'selfie taker', I was that little more excited to check out the new digital craze amongst the world of #TeamInternet. Now what I ultimately love about this phone is its creativity as you are able to crop, rotate, and auto fix your photos via Lumia Creative Studio- it's like having Instagram installed automatically into your phone (filters in all). Not only is this device the perfect selfie phone to capture your outfit of the day and perfectly sculpted MAC cheek bones, but its wide angle, 5 mega-pixel front facing camera, helps to fit many more faces into the shot (perfect for taking holiday snaps I'd say). The quality of the snaps isn't bad either, although I'd say that it didn't cope so well in lower lighting as my face became slightly more grainy and the colours weren't as crisp, but the pictures were nevertheless gorgeous in the daylight. Oh and before I go on, just look how gorgeous the colour of this phone is! (hence the rose petals ha).

What I also loved about this phone is its menu page (see above). I love how big and colourful the app buttons are and they are also extremely easy to custom (just look how big and attractive that Facebook button looks). Now what also really impressed me was the Lumia Beamer App which allows you to project a small smart phone screen onto a large monitor or television. As you can imagine this feature makes it a lot more easier to share your content and snaps with friends and family, and it could even help to improve your efficiency at work. Now you are probably all wondering... how long did the battery life last for. Well seeing as though I surf on the internet, control my emails, blog, and social media on my phone on a daily basis, I could no joke go without charging this phone for a little over 2 days (which felt like a dream!). I read in one study that this phone lasted 14 hours in a constant video watching test- how amazing for all YouTube video watching fans out there! It's functionability really does score an A*.

I also enjoyed playing music and listening to the radio (particularly at work) although I felt that this device was a little bit too big to take out running, even in my mobile phone armband. This was kind of a shame as I would of liked to have tested out the health and fitness app that was on there, and of course, taken some rather sweaty snaps of myself behind some rather picturess countryside locations (oh well, at least I saved you the ordeal on Instagram). I also didn't really like its rather sluggish keypad- sometimes I'd go and click on something and it just wouldn't take me to the page (I often had to click twice). I also felt that it's navigation keys weren't that great, I mean, I remember that I was stuck on one page for a good few minutes before finding how to get out of it. But like with most phones all you need to do is just get used to it- I even remember my first time with an iPhone! #confused.com.

Bursting with features on a high contrast and HD screen, this mobile phone is the ultimate definition of blogger and vlogger. It is available on contract or on pay as you go (starting from £149.99).
What do you think of this ultimate selfie and vblogger phone? Would you trade your phone in?
Much Love
