How Not To Do A Olaf Makeover| Christmas Special

How Not To Do A Olaf Makeover- it's definitely worth the watch so click here
Ahhh I am so excited to be sharing this video with you all! Let’s just say that I am no face painter, and unfortunately utterly useless at prosthetics. Talk about it being #LastMinuteOlaf. We filmed this video some time ago for Jamie's 'Chipmass' series over on his channel, and I decided to have a good go at turning him into Olaf from Frozen on my channel (I think that I need to emphasise the word 'tried' don't I). Just a thought, does a fried egg come to mind? Any who, over on Jamie's channel we filmed the 'Blended Christmas Dinner' challenge where we actually cooked a Christmas dinner, blended it, and then drank it... yeah it was pretty gross. But you can check out my How Not To Do A Olaf Makeover and the Blended Christmas Dinner challenge now.

Just quickly whilst I have you all here, I just wanted to let you all know that I am not entirely sure on how much I will be blogging over the Christmas period. Instead of opening presents and tucking into a huge Christmas dinner, this year I will be working a Christmas commissioning with the company that I work for. So I guess that it all depends on how badly the 12 hour shifts will hit me (let's hope it's not too drastic). Nevertheless, I will continue in true Eltoria fashion in the New Year!

What are you guys up to this Christmas?
Much Love

Bright & Bubbly and Kissmass Cracker By Soap & Glory

This Christmas, every girl deserves to be Bright & Bubbly and hang out with these four Original Pink scented mini delights. Soap and Glory I couldn’t agree with you more. I have been a fan of Soap & Glory for years, and their cute and pretty vintage bottles have been known to make a frequent appearance on this blog (I recently tried out the Orangeasm shower gel and loved it). Every time I receive some Soap & Glory products in the post, I somehow get even more girly (yep even more girly than I actually am). This time not only have I stuck pink gels on my lights to make the background pink, but I also decided to stick the bubble machine on. And oh boy didn’t I get a little carried away. So with a sparkly gift box, packaging in the shape of a Christmas cracker and a heck of a lot of bubbles, I was ready to delve into a pink bubbly dream (or the Bright & Bubbly gift box to be more precise).

Above: Bright & Bubbly gift set and Kissmas Cracker
To me, the Original Pink scent to me smells a little like candy floss (but I am not entirely sure if that is the exact scent so pop your thoughts down below). As previously mentioned in my Soap & Glory post, Righteous Butter and the Clean on Me shower gel are my favourite products from the brand. They smell so good that I could just eat them myself. These award winning products soften your skin because they are jammed with aloe vera and cocoa butter- talk about touching velvet afterwards. Not only are these products amazing gifts from ‘Lather Christmas,’ but they are perfect for the skin in the up and coming wintry months. So get lathering and pampering ladies and gents, the skin drought is due to hit soon!

Above: inside Bright & Bubbly gift set
Hand Food is a product that I have not actually tried before, so it was nice to try something a little different. Hand Food is a hand cream which also smells of the Original Pink scent, so I was happy when it came to rehydrating my hands back to life. What I mainly love about this product is that I am able to top up on the Original Pink scent like a perfume (especially in the day when I am at work). On the other hand, Scrub of your Life is a thick and foamy product which is stuffed with micro beads making it the perfect body exfoliator. It also smells like the Original Pink scent and it is particularly good when it comes to getting fake tan off! Both yummy and practical.

Pout you Sexy Mother Pucker! This little christmas cracker sure does pack a mighty pamper punch. Featuring the Super-Colour Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss in Rose & Shine, this lip gloss sure does sit nicely on any lip. What I like about this lip gloss is that it is super hydrating and manages give the lip a nice plump... perfect for kissing under the mistletoe this Christmas.

You can pick up the Bright & Bubbly gift for box for £10.00, and the Kissmas Cracker for just £6.00! What perfect sweet treats for a Secret Santa present!

What will you be picking up this Christmas from Soap & Glory?
Much Love

Cocoa Brown Instant Tan Bronzing Gel

Firstly let’s take a moment to appreciate the cool packaging of this product… I just love how fabulously pink and girly it is. Last year I did a review on Cocoa Brown’s One Hour Fake Tan Mousse, and it was here where I went from a girl who didn’t really wear fake tan, to someone who became obsessed (so thanks for that Marrissa Carter). The Instant Tan Bronzing Gel is an instant tan which comes off in just one wash- so it is perfect for anyone who isn’t really keen on the stuff or is rather nervous to use it. This product is particularly good if you have really pale skin because you are able to build the colour up as little or as much as you want. As someone who has a natural olive tinge to their skin, I like use this product to maintain my bronzed look. Not only do I use it directly on its own, but I also like to use it in combination with another tan (the darker the better is my motto). So let's see what lays beneath the fabulous pink layer.

With many fake tans smelling like the classic indian food pong, it didn't really surprise me that this product smelt just as yummy as the One Hour Fake Tan Mousse. So with delicious mangos and strawberries springing to mind, the tan itself is almost as good as a Spanish summer tan (ahh a holiday in a bottle). Unlike the One House Fake Tan Mousse, this product is a non sticky gel which glides beautifully over the body. The product drys ever so quickly and leaves a gorgeous matte airbrushed finish in seconds. It is as instant as instant coffee (excuse my pun). So when I have forgotten to tan for a really big night, or just generally want to paint over my rather pale pins, I can always trust my tube of pink glory to produce some excellent results. You can pick up a tube for just £5.19 and it is available in most drug stores.

To apply my rather fabulous brown stuff, I have been using this new Deluxe Double Sided Tanning Mitt which is double sided. Not only will your mitt last twice as long, but the gentle application onto your skin will be streak free too. The mitt itself felt a lot thicker than most affordable ones, and it had kind of grippy texture as soon as you popped your hand into it. I also love the fact that the guys at Cocoa Brown sent me a mitt with my own name on it (cute!).

Would you use this product? What tanning products/accessories do you like to use?

The Grinch Makeover

Now before I say anything there's just one thing that I need to clear up, yes that is me made up to look like the Grinch. Now I have to say that this is probably one of the funniest videos that I have ever done I mean common', just look at me. Myself and the lovely Hannah from Fantasy Faces collaborated to create this rather festive look. Not only is Hannah is a professional face painter and a friend of mine, but some of you guys may also recognise her work in my Halloween Makeup Tutorial post (err yeah she's pretty good isn't she). So as a bit of fun, I thought that it was a good idea to create a Grinch Makeover YouTube video (see thumbnail below). If you didn't find the video helpful, I have also written a step by step guide below on how you can also create this look. But be sure to tweet me any of your creations if you happen to try this at home! It looks pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Above: The Grinch Makeover 2015 Video
1. Prepare your prosthetic nose and Grinch eyebrows. Here you will need some latex (which can be found in any party shop) and one of those plastic masks to mould on. You will have to be very patient as it does take a while, but make sure that you add layers and stretch it appropriately. Please ensure that you read the instructions on the latex carefully before applying onto the skin.

2. Grab yourself a Santa's beard (which can be found in any party shop) to prepare the eyebrows and finger hair. Spray these green with some hair colouring spray, and make sure that both the hair and prosthetic nose and eyebrows are fully dry.

3. It is now time to prepare the face! Grabbing any pritt stick, apply it to the eyebrows (don't worry it doesn't ruin your eyebrows) and leave to dry. Grabbing any concealer, apply this on top of your eyebrows. Now your eyebrows will look invisible! Clever ey.

4. Now apply your prosthetics 'Grinch eyebrows' above your own eyebrows to create a dramatic look. Also apply the prosthetic nose ontop of your own nose and pad it out with some cotton wool underneath (the more 3D you make it the better). It is best to stick these down with some Spirit Gum (which can also be found in any party shop). Make sure you allow plenty of time for these to dry and check the instructions before applying.

5. Now get painting! Hannah uses facepaint from Snazaroo and has her own professional brushes (but you can use anything really). Make sure you apply the light green to the whole of the face first before applying the darker green for shading (also make sure that the base is dry before adding darker colours).

6. Apply the green 'eyebrow hair' below the 'Grinch eyebrows', and also paint your hands green and add the finger hair to your own fingers. Also apply some green and yellow contact lenses if you are able to (you may want to apply these at the start of the makeover), and dress up in a Santa's outfit to complete the look.

Have you ever tried this look before? Would you give it a go? Leave your comments below!
Much Love
