DIY Cinnamon & Orange Christmas Tree Decorations

This weekend it was meant to be one of the most popular times to put up a Christmas tree in the UK, so why not make your own decorations too? One day in the week I got creative and made my own orange and cinnamon 'ballball' equivalents and boy, they smelt in-cred-ible! And it is so easy to make (bonus). So to make things a little easier, I have written some instructions below and filmed a DIY video for you guys to follow (you can check out that video by clicking the thumbnail below). So raid your cupboards and get some fresh oranges in, pimp up your tree with some DIY treats. BrillanteYou will need: some oranges, cinnamon sticks, cloves, cinnamon powder, skewer sticks, ribbon, and some string.

Step 1: Slice up your oranges, put them onto skewer sticks, and pop them into an oven so that they can dry out. This should approximately take 15 minutes.

Step 2: Whilst the oranges are drying out, gather up your cinnamon sticks and tie them together with a piece of string. Tie a loop at the top so that you can hang your masterpiece onto your tree. Cut off the ends of the cinnamon sticks if they are a little too large. Wrap some ribbon around your sticks and tie a bow.
Above: watch my DIY Cinnamon & Orange Christmas Tree Decorations Video
Step 3: Once your oranges are done, pop in your cloves and sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top. Make a hole with the skewer and feed through some string so that you can make a loop.

Step 4: Attach your orange to your cinnamon sticks (see the video below as to how you can do this) and wollah, your decoration is ready to be hung from your tree!

Will you be making any DIY Christmas tree decorations this year?

Sienna X Gradual Glowing Self Tan & Radiance Body Balm

Sienna, Sienna, oh sweet Sienna X, how have you been out of my life all this time? Now we all know that I love a good tan, whether fake or real, finding the correct products to maintain a healthy bronzed look is imperative for a girl like me. I have really pale pins at the moment and it’s almost the Christmas party season. With any fake tan it is no hidden secret that I much prefer lotions. Personally I feel that they hydrate the skin a lot better and you can easily see where you are applying it- so you can kiss goodbye to that undesired streaky look. Also when fake tan is in the form of a lotion, I find that it fades a lot more gracefully on the skin. Some tanning products fade to be extremely drying which can inevitably make your skin look very scaly and alien like (not a good look). So in order to make my skin to have that healthy glow, I have been testing out the Sienna X Gradual Glowing Self Tan and the Sienna X Radiance Body Balm ready for the Christmas period.

First and foremost, the scent of the Gradual Glowing Self Tan is absolutely amazing! Even Grazia have said that it is the best smelling and most luxurious gradual self-tanner out there. To me it smells really beachy and fruity which makes a really nice change from the traditional curry pong. What I also like about this product is that it is a lotion- but it is quite different from the other lotions that I have been trying. As you can see from the picture below, it isn't as dark as the other lotion tans that I have previously written about. Now I wouldn't say that it was a disadvantage (because it applies beautifully onto the skin) however, I would say that darker tans are much easier to see upon application. As soon as I put the tan on, it only took around 1-2 hours for it to develop onto my skin. As you from the picture below, you can see that the colour is gorgeous and natural looking which instantly makes you feel as though you've just come back from a holiday. I do recommend using a tanning mit when using this product and you can grab a bottle for just £13.29. I definitely will be using this again!

Again, the Radiance Body Balm smells absolutely incredible too. Sometimes maintaining a tan can be quite hard however, finding a product that is extremely hydrating can be really beneficial to your 'fake baked' skin. What I love about this product is that it is jammed packed with really moisturising properties: Shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil and vitamin E which will all help to prolong your tan. I have particularly been using this product in mornings because the beautiful small gold flecks in the cream help to make the tan glow more radiant. Usually tanning lotions last for around 5 days on the skin, however using this product has prolonged the tan for an extra 2 days. You can pick up a bottle for just £9.96.

Winter Look Book 2015

I have to say that filming this years Winter Look Book had to be one of my favourite videos to film; walking through a gorgeous local estate, tossing the autumnal leaves up in the air, breathing in the fresh and crispy air, spinning around in my new favourite tartan scarf and stopping off for a hot chocolate and scone in my favourite tea room... yes with all the toppings may I add. This year I have been absolutely obsessed with a number of autumnal and wintry colours; khaki greens, beiges, burgundies and mustard colours, I'm telling you, I absolutely live for this time of year. I have also developed a new love for foxes and owls, so most of my accessories in this years video is inspired by the very creatures themselves. As I do not want to give too much away in this post (sorry you will have to check out my Winter Look Book video to see all of the outfits) I have listed where I got each outfit from down below. For this look book I also received these amazing white Superga 2750 Efglu shoes. Now I know that some of you are probably thinking one thing, who are Superga? Superga are essentially the 'people's shoes of Italy' and they offer a wide range of leather shoes for all ages for both genders. What I love about these shoes is that they are a cross between Vans and Converses, and I must mention that they appear a lot more, shall I say, sturdier. I picked the 2750 Efglus because they make the perfect smart-casual choice for the colder season, and I like the fact that they can go with almost any outfit. The shoes themselves have cotton lining and a leather exterior so they are extremely easy to clean (yey).  They also have some other fabulous colours (like rose gold) so be sure to go and check them out. Thank you to the Bath store for having me!

100 Things You Should Do Before High School/Secondary School

If you are someone like me, coming home to a series that is considered to be an ‘easy watch’ is an absolute dream. I always find it incredibly annoying when you find that your favourite TV show isn't going to be aired for another six months, so it is always nice to find some TV shows that you can become obsessed with all over again. So with Suits and Awkward now not showing until the new year *sob*, I had to find a good replacement. On November 11th Nickelodeon launched their new TV show 100 Things To Do Before High School and I honestly cannot get enough of the show. When I think High School (especially in the USA) I picture High School Musical: the cheerleaders, the football players, the cliques... just everything. CJ (the main character), like me, thinks this too until her brother gives her one major wake up call. Therefore it is CJ's quest to live life to the full before starting High School. So in spirit of my new favourite TV show, I have come up with my own top 10 things to do before High School/Secondary school. As I am situated in the UK, the things that I mention in this post may be different from schools situated abroad, so be sure to mention a few. I'd love to find out what different schools do abroad!

You can catch the show every Friday at 4.30pm on Nickelodeon. You can watch the trailer by clicking the thumbnail above.

1. Paint, Paint, Paint- get enough of the stuff because you won't get a lot of it any more
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfzHmw
2. Rock those daps because they won't be cool any more
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfzPTb
3. Ring the lunch time bell as much as you can, they don't exist in Secondary School
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfzSyi
4. The Pritt Stick will no longer be required, so cut out and stick as much as you can.

Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfA0hd
5. Embrace all of the coloured bean bags, especially at Sports Day. They're just cool.

Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfA9RN

6. Reading books with pictures will no longer become acceptable. Shakespeare will become your friend
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfAd3W
7. TV time will almost become non existent in High School so beg your teacher as much as your can
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfAnbD
8. Mufti days will become the next 'Top Model' fashion show, so have fun not caring what to wear
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfAofO
9. Kiss goodbye to the credit stickers, so get as many as you can before leaving
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfAsfs
10. It's nothing like Mean Girls so don't waste time becoming someone you're not
Reference: http://bit.ly/1YfAvIi
Now for this bit I am going to go a little more into depth. Throughout primary school (and partly through secondary school) I was a keen ballet dancer- we're talking over 10 years. All I wanted to do was dance. I used to practice my pirouettes in the middle of the living room and use the kitchen chair to master my bar work. I was never able to keep still. Despite moving onto High School/ Secondary School and wanting to experience different things, my main advice is to never give up something that is truly your passion. I carried on with my ballet partly into Secondary School but shortly gave up when I was around 14/15. A lot of people usually give up their long term passions before they start secondary school, and I can tell you one thing, you will soon regret packing it all in. I certainly do. So before you join High School/Secondary make sure you think hard before throwing away your dreams... mine was being a ballet dancer (all I do is eye up the pointe shoes on the Dance Wear Central website).

What are your top tips to do before High School/Secondary School?
Much Love

Winter Beauty Favourites Post

Recently I have been going a little beauty mad and here's why. Since Halloween has now passed and the wintry chill has now surged over the UK, my skin has been throwing one major tantrum for attention (talk about being dry.com). So with my summer tan now faded and my skin feeling as though it needs a major injection of hydration, I have been trying out a number new products to help nurse my skin back to its normal self. Just before I start I do need to do a little disclaimer because some of these products were sent to me by PR companies. Now I know that some bloggers (not all) receive a product and then automatically become biased towards it however, this is something that I do not do. You wouldn't believe on how many products I do turn down in order to ensure that the content I do write about is useful and helpful to you all. And of course I wouldn't even review something unless I felt comfortable or even excited to do so. So without further adieu, let's take a sneak peek at some of the stuff I have been trying out recently.

Just before we go into the 'dry skin saga', you guys know how much I really like The Library of Fragrance range. Even before The Library of Fragrance had even launched, I had been participating in a number of surveys and questionnaires which targeted towards making the perfect fragrance. Now I must admit the Library of Fragrance range isn't something like your typical commercial fragrance, however it is something rather unique and different which makes a fragrance more personal to you. What is amazing about the range is that they pretty much have every scent going: pizza, fresh linen, play-doh, hay, grass, champagne... there's just so much choice! As I like to sometimes associate special moments by scent, I chose these gorgeous fragrances to help me reminiscence some good times: Strawberry Icecream, Sweet Pea, Sex On The Beach and Marshmallow (I now always keep my Strawberry Icecream scent in my car!). They all smell so yummy so be sure to check the range out.

Since Halloween has now passed, I have still been wearing my Artdeco Couture Dark Queen Laquer as a simple nail fashion statement. Since trying out the Artdeco High Precision Liquid Liner in my recent Autumn Makeup Look video, I have since become obsessed with the brand. Their products seem to stay on for long time (for example the nail varnish doesn't chip away easily) and they are also incredibly easy to apply... yes even the liquid eye liner.

I was sent some Astral Skin care products a few weeks ago and I have to say they work wonders on dry and chappy skin. The products themselves almost reminded me of E45 Cream which makes them perfect for really troubled skin (especially if you suffer from eczema and sirius). It's rich and intensely moisturising formula gives skin the nourishment, protection and the simple care that it needs for it to stay healthy this winter. As a natural skin care enthusiast, what I also like about the products is that they contain true and natural ingredients like lanolin and glycerin which help to attract and bind water to the epidermis of the skin (and hence staying lovely and hydrated for longer). From the range I received the Astral Original Face and Body Moisturiser and the Astral Soft Face and Body Moisturiser. The original range as mentioned above really did remind me of E45 cream however, I absolutely fell in love with the Astral Soft Face and Body Moisturiser because it smelt like Rose Water (and I frickin’ love Rose Water). Not only have I been using this product on my skin, but I have also been popping it onto my lips at night where it has performed miracles (goodbye sore and chappy lips). The aloe vera and vitamin E in the product has really benefited my skin and I have kissed goodbye to troubled skin.

Although my skin has been a little dryer than normal recently, my t-zone still remains its troublesome self (slightly oily and prone to spots). Although some people choose not to use products on their t-zone in fear that it is 'going to make it worse', it is however quite the opposite. Leaving your skin untreated can in fact cause your skin to produce more oil which can then inevitably cause spots and blocked pores. Using a cream or a serum which suits your skin can in fact help balance the level of sebum in your skin which controls oil secretion. I have recently been trying out IASO Pore Tightening Serum and I have to say it has been really impressive. The product contains sebum control powder which makes enlarged pores look virtually invisible by treating them from the inside out. After using this product for a number of weeks now, I have to say that the pores especially around my nose have decreased in size. What I loved about the product is that it makes your skin feel ever so silky and it doesn't leave any tightening sensation. The bottle is gorgeous, the smell of the product is just divine and it does a magical job on the pores... perfecto!

So with my t-zone being slightly oiler, it is something that cannot also be said for my outer t-zone areas. Since the weather has taken a turn for the worse, my skin has decided to take a walk on the dry side. As I usually wear make up in the day, I tend to wear thick and repair creams overnight because it is deemed the best opportunity for your skin to rehabilitate. Recently I have been using Beauty Lab's Overnight Repair Cream and it has worked wonders on my blemishes. This light crème is rich in peptides, anti-ageing Retinol A and an exclusive marine collagen blend that helps to reduce the effects of photo-ageing which in times leads to loss of elasticity. Despite the cream smelling a little like dried paint, it really has left my skin feeling rehydrated and extremely soft. What I also like about the product is that it is paraben and alcohol free which is not tested on animals.

When it comes to fake tan, I am definitely almost an expert on it. I'd have to say that reviewing fake tan has almost become a thing of mine on here. I just love the stuff! I recently tried out the Beauty Lab's PT Instant Colour Self Tan mousse, and wait, I know what some of you are probably thinking... I hate tanning mousses. Whilst it is no hidden secret that I much prefer a tanning lotion to a tanning mousse, but considering the amount of hype going around the blogging world about this product, I had to try it out. Not going to lie, I was pretty nervous to try out this product. For some reason I happen to be some sort of pro at making tanning mouse look streaky and orange on the skin. But the promise of a instant natural holiday glow was all too tempting to my rather pale and wintry skin. However I scored a win on the mouse front because it DIDN'T GO STREAKY OR ORANGE... hallelujah. I was really impressed with this mousse and it is something that I would definately use again.

Oh good goodness, if there's one word to describe this product then it would be 'wow'. Since reviewing the Fleur de Figui perfume back in the summer, I was all keen to fall head over heels for another Roger & Gallet product. Huile Courmande is a gorgeous ultra-nourishing oil which is perfect for both the hair and body. The scent is very fresh and smells just like apricots and passionflower which makes it the ultimate pick me up scent this winter. The scent also has a cocktail of other fruits in it: grapes, pomegranate, blackcurrant, olives, avocados and sweet almond... it smells that good I've been using it as an air freshener around the house! I have to say that this perfume isn't light, it is in fact quote strong, so I would say you would like this perfume if you like the strength of Chanel perfumes for example.

New 7th Heaven Coffee Mocha Mud Facemask| Oily & Combination Skin

A facemask that has coffee in it? I know genius isn't it. Not only can you have your daily mug of coffee to wake you up in the mornings, but you can now uplift your skin with this extremely rejuvenating coffee facemask by 7th Heaven too. That's what I like to call a proper 'Starbucks morning'. Now you all know that I love a good 7th Heaven review: Fudge Sauna, Moisture Miracle Mask, Chocoholic Heaven... I've done quite a few I must admit. What I love about them is that they are so good value for money and they are really perfect for any pamper evening (whether you are on your own or with friends). So with my skin being a little temperamental recently due to the pretty drastic weather change here in the UK, I was ever so excited to give my skin a little TLC with this new 7th Heaven Coffee Mocha Mud Facemask.

Before I go into the review you may think one thing, who is 7th Heaven and why are they impersonating Montagne Jeunesse. Well it appears that it isn't just this Eltoria blog who has been through a little makeover recently. Montagne Jeunesse was established 30 years ago and they needed a name that summed up their fun and loving attitude in addition to their natural herbal roots. Unfortunately for the company all of the cool names they wanted were taken up so they finally agreed with Montagne Jeuness (French for Mountain Youth). Although we have all now come know their iconic face, it was however still the case that no one could say their name correctly (I don't think that even I can say it correctly). So with a little help from their fans, 7th Heaven was founded. What do you reckon of their new name?

The facemask contains coffee beans which are whipped together with nourishing Macadamia Oil and Kaolin Clay to lightly exfoliate and cleanse the skin. This face mask also helps to minimize the appearance of pores which is perfect if you frequently suffer from blackheads. Recently my skin has gotten a little congested around the t-zone and slightly dry around the edges which I must admit is a pain to treat (hello unruly winter skin). This facemask is perfect for oily/combination skin and it does a good job in making your skin feel ever so clean after use. The texture of the facemask is quite gritty which is great for exfoliation and the smell of it isn't too much like coffee- actually it is quite hard to explain what it smells like (maybe left over coffee?). Overall this facemask is a great cleanser and I would most definitely use it again. You can pick one up for £1.00 from most drug stores (what a great cheap skin fix!).

What is your favourite 7th Heaven facemask?

Quick & Easy Hair Styles

When you hit the snooze button on your alarm and end up waking up late, there's nothing worse than having to deal with unruly hair. Even this beauty blogger knows how it feels. Since getting Lily May Hair Extensions and having longer hair, I have been obsessed in watching new quick and easy hair style videos to try out on my new locks. However whilst coming across a lot of new hair styles to try out, I learnt one thing, some aren't 'quick' at all. If you are someone like me, I consider 'quick' hairstyles to take 5 minutes or less (alright maybe 10 minutes at a push). So with a lot of research and trialling, I have come up with 4 hairstyles that really do take 5 minutes or less. These hairstyles are totally ideal for work, school and even for occasions that you are in a hurry to attend to (I just love them all). So if you are in the mood to learn a few more hairstyles, be sure to watch my brand new Quick & Easy Hair Styles video.

Hair products from the Batiste range have recently been one of my most used beauty products throughout the whole of 2015. Since being properly introduced to the range back in my Batiste Dry Shampoo post, I have since explored other products in the range; namely their Hold Me Hair Spray and Frizz Tamer Spray. So with the Batiste dry shampoo product being one of my most best 'go to' hair products of all time, I have since tried out their Cherry scented dry shampoo which I must add smells amahhzing. In this video I have used the dry shampoo to add a little extra texture into my hair as I had washed my hair the night before. Dry shampoo makes styling so much more easier so do make sure that you pop some into your hair before creating your very glamorous up-do! I used the Hold Me Hair Spray to keep my plaits, twists and buns in place, and I also used the Frizz Tamer Spray on the rest of my hair. They smell amazing and both do not leave your hair feeling greasy or sticky. You can pick these products up from most drug stores/supermarkets.

Have you ever been in two minds about changing the colour of your hair completely? I have many of times. I have had this blonde ombre for almost a year now but I keep looking at grey ombre on Instagram (it just looks so cool). Hair chalk by Hair Chalk Co offer so many different hair colours which would be the envy of many. The best thing about hair chalk is that whilst it has an intensive colour, it is not permanent (it roughly comes out in 4 washes). So whether you opt to have rainbow hair or bright yellow hair, hair chalk will not damage your hair like permanent hair dye does (so you will be able to change the colour of your hair weekly if you wish). You can buy these chalks separately or in a hair chalk set which is ideal if you are wanting the perfect colourful ombre, so do go and check out the Hair Chalk Co site out.

Aren't these Hipsy hairbands just adorable? Look how gorgeous and cute they look. These hair bands are really perfect for any time for any occasion. Not only are they a pretty accessory but they can play a key part in many hair styles. The two patterns I chose were the Polka Dot Light Pink & White hair band and this Floral Pink and Mint hair band which I think looks so Cath Kidston. Each Hipsy hair band comes with its own adjustable strap which makes it ideal for comfort and stability. I particularly like wearing mine to the gym as its 'non slip' characteristic helps to keep your hair off from your face. You can get so many styles, colours and patterns (even your own custom ones) so be sure to check out the Hipsy site for your next hair buy.

Do you have a favourite quick and easy hairstyle?

Outfit Of The Day| Autumn Edition

Ahh it's my favourite season of all time, Autumn. Don't you just love how the air is so crisp in the mornings and the how the colour of the trees start to look more golden by the day. I honestly live for this season. Not only do I enjoy watching the season change, but I also love swapping out my Summer clothes for something a little more (err shall I say) toasty. This Autumn not only have I been loving the beige and burgundies (as seen in a recent Outfit Of The Day post click here) but I have also been loving khaki green. Not only does khaki green look amazing paired up with anything rose gold, gold or bronze, but doesn't it also look fabulous against my favourite burgundy lip stick of all time: Hang Up by MAC? I like to think so!

Talking of change, what do you reckon of this brand new Eltoria look? I must say that I was ever so scared to change the look of this blog but I am so glad that I have finally done it (change is good right?). Instead of this blog looking wholly 'blog like', I wanted to incorporate the top photo slider to make it feel more like a personal website. I have been blogging for over 2 years now and I'm ever so grateful for all of the support and opportunities that have come my way- so a brand new look is almost like a brand new chapter. I must say a huge thank you to Amalie and Deepak who have done an amazing job in creating this new blog look. You can go and check out their shops by clicking on their names above or by visiting Deepak's Facebook page by clicking here.

Boots: River Island £38.00
So in carrying on with this post, during my short visit to London on my birthday weekend (click here to read about that), I managed to find this absolutely amazing coat from New Look. This year I really wanted to find a fur neck lined coat that was beige, and what do you know, I found one for only £50.00 (and I budgeted one for £100.00.. bargain!). I also found this gorgeous Khaki Waisted Tabard Top (£28.00) and these really cute Black Patent Tassel Loafers all from River Island (£28.00). I have seriously been loving River Island recently so I reckon that you all should get your cute butts over there and treat yourselves to something lovely. Overall this outfit is just perfect for a warmer autumn's day.

What do you think of my recent buys? What have you been loving recently?
Much Love
